The post World War One city of Paris was crowded with artists experimenting with new forms and fresh ways of seeing. In this climate, theaters, cafes, cinemas, dance halls, and studios became forums for new expressions.

During the 1920s, mass communication encouraged optimism and confidence in progress. Streamlined shapes, sleek forms, flat pictorial surfaces, sharp geometric angles, and syncopated sounds blended with Italian Futurism, Russian Constructivism and Cubism to invent a modern vocabulary. In honor of this remarkable time and spirit, Upper South Studio presents the authentic designs of The Jazz Age Suite.
