The large graphic composition is a collage of images that help reveal Panama City’s past and present. Images include a diptych of the first excursion through the Panama Canal on February 7, 1915. Across the top edge are historic stamps of independence. The central motif is an iconic configurations of two of Panama City’s most important Spanish Baroque cathedrals.

The next image is an illustration of a colorful streetscape from the neighborhood of Casco Viejo the old colonial district of Panama City.
